Lunaphore Immuno-Oncology
Grant Program

Accelerate your Immuno-Oncology (IO) research with the simultaneous detection of biomarkers on tissue samples. Lunaphore LabSat® Research and COMET™ systems (under development) are novel platforms that enable highly automated, extremely rapid, mid and high multiplex approaches to analyze tissue samples.

The Lunaphore Immuno-Oncology Grant Program provides an opportunity for your lab to win a free LabSat® Research or COMET™ Instrument.

Lunaphore LabSat® Research Immuno-Oncology Grant

Win a LabSat® Research Instrument and other related prizes

LabSat™ Research grant proposals must include Immuno-Oncology related projects involving 3 to 6-plex + DAPI biomarker staining and imaging of FFPE tissue samples with Lunaphore’s LabSat® Research platform.

1st Prize: 1 x LabSat® Research*
2nd Prize: 15,000 USD credit in Lunaphore Products or Services
All other participants: 20% voucher on Lunaphore products and services, valid only in 2021, for all applications meeting all criteria.

*LabSat® Research will be delivered within 8 weeks after the close of the grant program.

Lunaphore COMET™ Immuno-Oncology Grant

Win a COMET™ Early Access Pilot Instrument (6 month placement) and other related prizes

COMET™ grant proposals must include Immuno-Oncology related projects involving 10 to 20-plex + DAPI staining and imaging of FFPE tissue samples with Lunaphore’s COMET™ Early Access Pilot platform (currently under development).

1st Prize: COMET™ 6-month placement* (early access Pilot unit) + 20,000 USD credit in Lunaphore Lab Service for preliminary panel / tissue development
2nd Prize: 15,000 USD credit in Lunaphore Products or Services
All other participants: 20% voucher on Lunaphore products and service, valid only in 2021, for all applications meeting all criteria.

*The COMET™ instrument will be delivered upon early access release of the instrument, currently anticipated to be in the first half of 2021.

Submission content for both grants:

  • Research study background information on staining and imaging applications, and proposed biomarkers.
  • Information on how a LabSat® Research or COMET™ platform will enable your laboratory to enhance current research, or enable research not currently undertaken.
  • A detailed description on the specific research that would be performed on the LabSat® Research® or COMET™ instrument, including sample tissue type(s) and fixation, proposed biomarkers, etc., detailing your lab’s antibody access.
  • Intended use of the data generated.
  • The total submission should be no more than 1000 words.
  • Grant submissions must be received on or before 17:00 CEST on the December 1st, 2020.

Selection criteria for both grants:

All submissions received on or before the deadline will be reviewed by Lunaphore and the winner will be selected on the following criteria:

  • Impact of the study being developed
  • Readiness to support and promote the development of applications that can be used for the wider research community
  • Ability to generate data within the scope of the laboratory’s facilities
  • Well defined proposal
  • Potential to complete the project within 6 months of receiving the platform
  • The winner agrees that Lunaphore Technologies shall have the right to publicly announce the winner’s name and research topic, including in marketing materials and seminars
  • Preliminary experience with Multiplex Immunofluorescence is an advantage
  • Eagerness to work with early access products

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be age 18 or older
  • Applicants must be employed at an academic research institution, a Healthcare Organization (HCO), a Pharma / Biotech company, or a Contract Research Organization (CRO) located in Europe or the US, in a capacity in which they perform life sciences research
